How to complete your profile
Complete your candidate profile in the guided setup - it is the basis for your CV and job applications.
What the profile is for
Your CV is generated from your profile, and without a profile you cannot apply to jobs. You fill it in once in a short guided setup.
Step by step
The guided setup starts from the My space section (the My profile card) until your profile is complete.
- Step 1 - Basic information: first and last name, phone (optional), city and region, and optionally interest in remote work or willingness to relocate.
- Step 2 - Experience: target positions, work experience (position, employer, years) and skills.
- Step 3 - Preferences: contract type and expected salary (from-to), preferred regions, employment types, industries, availability and notice period.
- Step 4 - Summary: choose your profile visibility, confirm consent to data processing and click Complete profile.
Good to know
- If you want employers to find you themselves, also turn on consent to being searched in the CV database in the My data and privacy section. Profile visibility alone is not enough for that.
- The Public visibility creates a public link to your profile (without search engine indexing); a Private profile is visible only to you.
- You can edit everything at any time on the My profile page: basic info (name, headline, About me, location), preferred occupations, employment types and industries, availability, preferred regions, plus experience, education, languages, skills and links. Your profile powers tailored recommendations and job alerts.
- Your first name, last name and phone are your official contact details: they are used in your CV and employers see them with your applications. Czech phone numbers are stored as +420 777 123 456. The display name on the Profile page is just an in-app nickname - it is not used in your CV or applications.
My job requirements
This feature is being verified in the development version (DEV), before public release.
On My profile, the My job requirements section has its own Save requirements button. Choose Preferred or Required for each area. You can also set limits on night or weekend work, maximum commuting time and travel modes. These private priorities and limits are not shared with employers or included in your shared CV.
Remote work and working hours show the currently saved profile value. Selecting Required and saving your requirements confirms that displayed value. To change it, save your profile details separately first, then check the displayed values again. If a required criterion has no value, supply it first or change its priority.
Saving your profile does not save the requirements draft, and vice versa. If another window changes the stored data, your draft is preserved. Before choosing Load saved values, note any edits you want to keep: this action replaces your draft with the currently saved data. Check the values and reapply any changes.
The development version now includes comparison on job details and in recommendations on the web and mobile app. See search and fit for the rules, separation of jobs needing verification and limitations. This does not announce public release or deployment of the new assessment to job alerts.
The full JobsAI data export also includes stored private priorities and shift or commute limits. JSON Resume and Europass CV exports do not include these requirements.
